3. There are various theories that explain the origin of Earth’s crust. Discuss their merits and limitations. What is the most plausible and scientific explanation of the origin of Earth’s crust? Explain. (20 marks)


4. Elaborate upon the concept of geomagnetism. Also discuss it’s applications in Geomorphology. (15 marks)


5. Write a short note on ‘Geomagnetism as an evidence of seafloor spreading. (15 marks)
