1. What is the Sagarmala project all about? Why is it crucial for India? Discuss.

2. There has been an impetus on commissioning high speed trains in the country. Why high speed trains are required? Discuss. Also enumerate the steps taken by the government in this regard.

3. The Financial Stability Report (FSR) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has revealed that the gross non-performing assets (GNPA) of banks may soar to 6.9% by March 2017. Why is GNPA rising in India? Also examine the recent steps taken by the government to reduce NPAs.

4. The government recently cancelled the registration of the NGOs which violated the Foreign Contributions (Regulations) Act, 2010 (FCRA). Though illegality of conduct must be punished, the need of the hour is a structured dialogue between the government and the civil society. Elucidate.

5. Critically evaluate the recent steps taken by the government to liberalize the FDI regime in the country.
