Set 1: Ask these questions to yourself; contemplate and come out with a concrete answer (not to be discussed on this forum). Invest at least 30 minutes on this set of questions.
- What is your idea of religion?
- Should a person be religious? Why?
- Are you religious? If yes, why? If not, why not?
Set 2: Analyse the following issue:
What is your assessment of the Ayodhya Ram Temple verdict by the Supreme Court? Is it a fair and balanced judgement? Are Indians bothered too much about temples and mosques instead of education and health today? Is the political narrative around religion and religious beliefs taking the space of rational debates over issues of significance? Are we going backwards in terms of secular thinking by getting too. Such involved with issues of personal faith and beliefs? Can a country with such mindset really progress? Do you think the participation of educated youngsters in politics can change the prevalent political discourse in India?
