Set 1: Ask these questions to yourself; contemplate and come out with a concrete answer (not to be discussed on this forum). Invest at least 30 minutes on this set of questions. 

• What does success mean to you? 
• Are you successful today? Or does qualifying UPSC mean success to you? 
• Does your notion of success and happiness augur well with your conscience? Think about it. 

Set 2: Analyse the following issue: 

The brutal rape and murder of a doctor in Hyderabad this week reflects horribly on the state of India’s law and order and more prominently on the mindset of an average Indian. Why can’t a safe environment be ensured for the daughters of India? Is it not a shame that an incident of such insanity and brutality has occurred in 21st century India? Is it not a moment to stop thinking about everything else and keep our heads down in regret? Is it not high time that we really DO something and stop paying lip service to the countless victims of violence and brutality? 

What would you have done differently to stop such incidents if you were the in charge of law and order in Hyderabad? Think.
