The UPSC has come out with the notification for UPSC Prelims 2022 last week and we hope that you are getting serious about your Prelims Specific Preparation.
The UPSC Prelims 2022 exam is scheduled on 5th June 2022. This leaves students practically with 4 months to prepare for the exam. However, four months is a lot of time to start your preparation.
We were getting a lot of requests to start a new batch of the Prelims Exclusive Program (PEP) 2022, so to cater to student’s demand, we are starting the new batch of PEP 2022 from 21st February.
The classes will be available in online mode only. Some of the classes have been uploaded on IASbaba’s YouTube Channel.

DETAILED PROGRAMME FEATURES
Every student will be provided a Dedicated Mentor, who will monitor your progress, give you feedback, motivate and guide you in the Right Path! The students can contact his/her mentor for any difficulties regarding Prelims preparation. This will keep an external check and will help in maintaining accountability throughout the course. Your Mentor will be guiding you, hand-holding you throughout your preparation till Prelims 5th JUNE, 2022.
Also, there will be 5 specific Mentorship Sessions:
- How to use PEP effectively?
- Importance of analysing the Tests and how to analyse the Tests?
- How to cover Current Affairs using the Current Affairs Handouts and Tests?
- How to revise effectively in the last one month?
- Valuable tips for the last day of exam from the Mentor’s vast experience
Note: For Offline students a mentor will be available in our centres from 10am- 5pm from Monday-Friday.
The experts from IASbaba will teach by demonstrating the tips and tricks of scoring high marks in Prelims. These tools will surely help you in increasing your score by 10-15 marks, a margin of score that no aspirant can afford to lose.
Strategy Classes- On how to Prepare, how to apply Tricks/Techniques- Live (from a well-researched set of 300 questions), Sources to refer for Prelims.
These classes will be held from Monday to Saturday (21st – 26th February, 2022). Each class will be of 3 hours duration.
Prelims Strategy Classes are divided into two parts. The Classes provide a holistic guidance of prelims preparation, so that your armoury will be full of tools to counter any pattern of prelims exam.
The classes are meticulously designed that are intense and high value to make maximum use of your time and attention. These sessions are designed to add value to your basic understanding of important concept and issues. The classes include high quality sessions on current affairs as well.
- Polity – 14 Classes
- Geography -12 Classes + 2 Exclusive Map based Classes
- Economics – 14 Classes (4 Exclusive classes on Economic Survey+ Budget)
- History and Art & Culture – 17 Classes
- Science & Technology – 8 Classes
- Environment – 10 Classes
- CSAT – 10 Classes. Discussion Class on Strategies & shortcuts.
- Miscellaneous Current Affairs Classes
Each subject will be taken by Subject Experts.
Each class will be of 3 hours duration followed by a 30 Minutes Test on topics discussed in the class.

- For more conceptual clarity and interlinking, Current Affairs of specific subjects will be taken by the subject faculty. This is done so that you can understand the current affairs in connection with the subject rather than reading and mugging them separately.
- Any miscellaneous Current Affairs will be covered in 4 separate Current Affairs special classes.
17 Weekly Current Affairs Tests and 17 Monthly Current Affairs (January 2021– May 2022) handouts will be provided.
This is to ensure that CSAT doesn’t become a stumbling block in your path to success (believe us, hundreds of aspirants fail to score one third in the CSAT paper).
All the topics will be covered in 10 classes. The classes will be detailed with knowledge enhancing short cuts and tricks. In every class the questions related to the topics will also be discussed.

- A platform (edu.iasbaba.com) has been designed for this initiative. Discussion Classes, Hand-outs and Tests will be uploaded on this Platform on Daily-basis.
- Mentorship will be available over phone call.
- Subject-wise Mentorship: Weekly Live Doubt Clearing Sessions by the subject faculty.
- Though the Tests are flexible, we would advise you to stick to the schedule to ensure discipline in your preparation.
- Once the payment is done, an acknowledgment will be sent immediately.

PEP 2022 will start from 21st February. However, if you enrol now, you’ll get access to the portal, Current Affairs Handouts (January 2021 to September 2021).

One can make best use of PEP, if he/she wants to cover the whole prelim syllabus along with timely Prelims Tests. PEP schedule is designed in such a way that will keep the Prelims preparation on priority. So, both freshers and veterans can join this program. - Yes. The Study plan is designed such that, a working professional has to spare 4-5 hours per day in the weekdays. You can spend more time on weekends for test analysis and revision.
- The Mentors will guide you through your plan and strategy regularly.
Around 100 Tests are provided. This includes Subject wise, Current Affairs, Revision Tests, Exclusive Tests, Full Length and CSAT Tests.
