Set 1: Ask these questions to yourself; contemplate and come out with a concrete answer (not to be discussed on this forum). Invest at least 30 minutes on this set of questions.

• Which political party do you support?
• Is your support based on perception or your own assessment of its ideology, vision roadmap?
• Will you be able to remain politically neutral when you join the Civil Services? Think about it.

Set 2: Analyse the following issue:

What is the significance of a strong opposition in a democracy like India? Do you think India lacks a vocal opposition today? Are you able to witness any fallout of this scenario? Do we need a government with a strong mandate or a coalition government with pulls and pressures operating from all the directions?
