3. Many regions in India are affected by droughts every year. How far dry farming techniques can mitigate the effects of droughts? Examine. (20 marks)

4. Despite having the largest livestock population in the world, dairy farming hasn’t reached its true potential in India. Why? Examine. Also suggest various measures to improve the performance of dairy sector in India. (15 marks)

 5. Write a short note on sericulture, its advantages, challenges and potential. (15 marks)
