Note: TLP Phase I is designed to let you explore and express the basic concepts in different subjects. The questions asked in this phase won’t be too analytical. However, they will require you to connect different concepts and evolve a response.

This time, we are posting questions in Hindi as well to encourage participation from aspirants writing their exam in Hindi language. We request you to write and upload your answers on this forum and get benefited from the community.

1. What is frontogenesis? How does it lead to temperate cyclones? Illustrate. Also discuss the distribution of temperate cyclones in the world.

फ्रंटोजेनेसिस क्या है? यह शीतोष्ण चक्रवातों के लिए कैसे आगे बढ़ता है? उदाहरण देकर स्पष्ट करें। इसके अलावा दुनिया में समशीतोष्ण चक्रवातों के वितरण पर चर्चा करें।

2. What is ‘subduction zone’? How does subduction lead to earthquakes. Also identify the major subduction zones of the world.

‘सबडक्शन क्षेत्र’ क्या है? सबडक्शन से भूकंप कैसे उत्पन्न होता है? दुनिया के प्रमुख सबडक्शन क्षेत्र की पहचान करें।

3. How does tsunami differ from tides? Also examine the origin, propagation and effects of tsunami on the coastal ecosystem.

सूनामी ज्वार से कैसे भिन्न होती है? सुनामी की उत्पत्ति, प्रसार तथा तटीय पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र पर प्रभावों की भी जांच करें।

4.Gender gaps come in the way of business competitiveness. India should take its slide in The Global Gender Gap rating seriously. Comment.

व्यापार की प्रतिस्पर्धात्मकता के रास्ते में जेंडर गैप अवरोध उत्पन्न करता है। भारत को ग्लोबल जेंडर गेप रेटिंग में अपनी गिरावट को गंभीरता से लेना चाहिए। टिप्पणी करें।

5. The problem of jurisdictional conflicts between Delhi’s elected government and the lieutenant governor (LG) is attributable to the conundrum called Article 239 AA of the Indian Constitution. Comment. Should this be amended? Examine.

दिल्ली की निर्वाचित सरकार और लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर (एलजी) के बीच अधिकारात्मक विवाद की समस्या भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 239 AA नामक पहेली के कारण है। टिप्पणी करें। क्या इसे संशोधित किया जाना चाहिए? जांच करें।
