Note: TLP Phase I is designed to let you explore and express the basic concepts in different subjects. The questions asked in this phase won’t be too analytical. However, they will require you to connect different concepts and evolve a response.

This time, we are posting questions in Hindi as well to encourage participation from aspirants writing their exam in Hindi language. We request you to write and upload your answers on this forum and get benefited from the community.

2. What is the role of transparency in good governance? Do you think a less transparent system is more prone to corruption? Examine.

सुशासन में पारदर्शिता की भूमिका क्या है? क्या आपको लगता है कि एक कम पारदर्शी प्रणाली भ्रष्टाचार के लिए अधिक प्रवण है? जांच करें।

3. Accountability measures and institutions in the government impede decision making and lead to inaction and delays. Do you agree? Critically examine.

सरकारी तंत्र में जवाबदेही के उपायों और संस्थाओं की उपस्थिति अनिर्णय, निष्क्रियता और विलम्ब का कारण होती है। क्या आप सहमत हैं? समालोचनात्मक जांच करें।

4. What is an ombudsman? Discuss its efficacy as an institutional measure to curb corruption.

लोकपाल क्या है? भ्रष्टाचार को रोकने के लिए एक संस्थागत उपाय के रूप में इसकी प्रभावोत्पादकता पर चर्चा करें।

5. External drive to strategy change is to be replaced by local commitment and ownership of reform ideas to enhance governance. Comment.

बेहतर अभिशासन हेतु रणनीति परिवर्तन के लिए बाहरी बल का स्थान तथा सुधार संबंधित विचारों का स्वामित्व स्थानीय प्रतिबद्धता और प्रशासन को लेना होगा। टिप्पणी करें।
