The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is a central recruiting agency in India that is responsible for conducting competitive examinations and interviews for various government positions, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS).
There are several ways you can prepare for the UPSC examination. Some popular options include:
The UPSC examination is conducted annually, usually in the month of May. The notification for the examination is usually released in the month of February.

The UPSC examination consists of two stages: the preliminary examination and the main examination. The preliminary examination consists of two papers: Paper I (General Studies) and Paper II (CSAT). The main examination consists of nine papers: two qualifying papers (Paper A and B), and seven papers in the chosen optional subject. The qualifying papers are designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of English and one Indian language, while the optional papers test the candidate’s knowledge of the chosen subject. The main examination also includes a personality test (interview).
