Note: The conditions in which you are preparing might vary but one thing is common- preparing for civil services is painful of course. You have to lose your sleep, stay away from your family and toil hard somewhere in a room, all alone. But is it more painful than failing at the very first stage and wait for the next attempt? 4. The IPR is often seen overriding the Competition law in India. It has necessitated to balance competition and protection of intellectual property rights in India. Elucidate.


5. Discuss the provisions of the SHAKTI scheme launched for the coal sector. Discuss the factors that necessitated the launch of this scheme. Also examine its provisions and significance.
