Dealing with uncertainty:
Life is another name for change and uncertainty. We can try and control our fate but eventually life always reminds us about how little control we really have. Everything that is happening around us in recent times reminds us of our vulnerable and fragile life. And yet, this is not the time to get bogged down.
The best of us is still very much within us. The best of life will always be something that comes from within us. We connect with people around us and share our lives, but the best of who we are is not borrowed but nurtured. In spite of all the inconvenience we are facing, we can take this time to reflect on some of the things that matter the most.
We have always been told that life is a race. We all have to keep running as fast as we can or risk being run over, but what if something puts an end to this race and tells us to stay put. Would you consider this as a blessing or a curse? There are always two sides to a coin, the way you look at things changes everything.
Yes, these are uncertain times. Yes, there is fear and confusion. Yes, there is stress and anxiety. But along with all this, we also have time for ourselves. This is a wonderful opportunity to put our minds to great creative use. We are all naturally very creative, but most of the time we are too busy to be creative. Busyness absolutely destroys creativity. Now that you don’t have to be busy, just imagine how creative you can get.
We can look at this quarantine as an incubation period for our dreams, desires, and ideas. We can get back to the drawing board and restart a few things. We can use this tragedy as an opportunity. Eventually, things have to get better, and that is the way of life. Change can be a cause of great uncertainty, but when understood correctly, change can become our greatest source of certainty. It all depends on the way we look at things.
