The issue for discussion today is the following:

Recent incidents involving allegations of sedition, cow vigilante, national anthem etc have thrown the concepts of nationalism and patriotism in the public arena for intense debates and controversies.

What in your opinion is nationalism? How is it different from patriotism? Do you think the ongoing discourse on nationalism and patriotism is a disturbing one? Are such feelings being enforced rather than being allowed to take shape themselves? What will be it’s consequences?
