2. The 7-pronged strategy ‘Indradhanush’ was announced last year to improve the condition of India’s state-run banks. What are the components and features of this strategy? Which additional measures have been taken recently? Discuss.

3. Why are big willful defaults rising in India? Analyse. Can the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2015 help the Indian banks? Critically examine.

4. The government has set up a committee under Shankar Acharya to explore if India should continue with the current Apr 1 to Mar 31 Financial Year. What are your views on the issue? Discuss.

5. Why the need was felt to merge the railway budget with the general budget? What are the pros and cons of this merger? Examine.
