2. Sanskrit was a ‘laboratory’ in ancient India but unfortunately it has become a ‘temple’ now. Comment. Why is it important to study the Sanskrit language? Discuss. 


3. The protest against the apex court’s verdict on Sabarimala temple has exposed the deep rooted cultural taboos towards gender issues. Do you agree? Is it possible to reconcile public opinion and constitutional morality in this case? Comment. 


4. The #MeToo movement has brought in forefront the universal nature of patriarchy and sense of male entitlement which are closely entwined with class and caste privilege in India. Comment.


5. In recent months, instances of segregating students on the basis of caste and religion have come out in the open. Some global reports have even put India in the list of worst countries as far as equality of citizens and religious tolerance are concerned. What is your opinion in this regard? Have we truly become an unequal and intolerant nation? 


6. The law to make triple talaq illegal will go go a long way in improving the lives of Muslim women in India? Do you agree? Critically comment. 


7. How is access to toilet and better sanitation under the Swachh Bharat Mission leading to socio-economic transformation of rural women? Explain.
