The issue for discussion today is the following:

A new world record was set up on Saturday when a huge number of people in Bihar formed the longest human chain to support the alcohol ban in Bihar. If you remember, the Bihar government had banned the consumption of alcohol in the state and had also passed stringent laws to enforce the same.

Do you think Indians need a parent state which would tell them the do’s and dont’s? Shouldn’t an individual be left free to decide about his drinking preferences? Is it not against individual liberty and freedom?
