नैतिक विचारकों और दार्शनिकों द्वारा दिए गए कुछ उद्धरणों नीचे दिए गए हैं। वर्तमान समय के संदर्भ में इनमें  निहित विचारों के महत्व की जांच करें:

1. What is crucial in dealing with loss is not to lose the lesson. That makes you a winner in the most profound sense.

हार से निपटने में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण है- हार से मिलने वाले सबक को नहीं भूलना। यह आपको सबसे गहन अर्थों में एक विजेता बनाता है।
