Some clarifications regarding the Think Learn and Perform (TLP) Initiative Note- Please register/login to participate in TLP-2015- look at Right hand sidebar About TLP-2015-> Click Here 1. Some aspirants have query regarding coverage of current affairs for their preparation. Kindly note that we shall be posting questions on current affairs regularly. In fact, it is an integral part of the TLP. One can expect 2-3 questions daily on current affairs. Moreover, we also have the dedicated initiative for Current Affairs. Here is the link: https://iasbaba.com/babas-daily-news-analysis/ 2. Some have raised doubts whether it is possible to follow such a tight schedule keeping in view the requirements of self study and also optional preparation. In this regard it is advisable to keep in mind that the bottom line of this examination is hard and consistent labour. There is no short cut to this examination. We are awake till 6 in the morning only to help you. We never said that this is going to be an easy journey. In fact, it might test your limits sometimes. What we promise however is that your efforts would be channelized in the most productive way possible. 3. We have tried our best to design the plan in a manner that would leave enough room for you to prepare your optional paper. We don’t expect you to spend more than 5 hours to read the sources and write answers as per the plan. It is for sure however that these few hours will be most relevant to your GS preparation. It is because, the questions won’t be simply copy pasted from random articles. Well researched questions on the lines of actual UPSC papers have been prepared. Your attempts to answer these questions itself will broaden your analytical faculty. 4. There is an underlying assumption that most of you have a certain degree of familiarity with the syllabus. Clearly, this initiative is not for those who are reading most the topics for the first time. 5. It is difficult for us to respond to certain queries by those who have already joined test series. We can’t help in this regard. We have already told you their pros and cons. All of you can take informed decisions in this regard. 6. This initiative can’t replace your own efforts. We are here to complement your hard work. 7. We have already announced our plans for 100 days Geography optional answer writing programme. We will soon announce similar plans for Public Administration as well. 8. Kindly have patience and let the plan take off. Please, shed all your inhibitions friends. The age of rot learning and mugging machines is gone. Participate with full vigor and we are sure that within few days, your confidence will be at a different platform altogether. All the Best IAS Baba
