NEW INITIATIVE: LOCKDOWN & YOU – Unlock Your Talent & Creativity!

Latest updates from “Unlock Your Talent & Creativity!”

Hello Friends,

You must be aware of the term ‘catharsis’. It is the process of releasing and thereby providing relief from, strong or repressed emotions.

In the current lockdown, we are all limited by the restrictions imposed on moving out, having dinner in restaurants or even visiting a place of worship. It might take a toll on all of us. To enjoy and expect freedom is human but the current milieu doesn’t allow us to enjoy our freedoms. Rather we are learning to repress our emotions and deal with the crisis, one day at a time. But, till what time can we repress our emotions?

Can we repress the urge to move out and meet with friends and family for a few more weeks? Can we exert enough self-control to repress our tendency to roam freely on the streets? Well, we have to! There is no other way after all. And who knows if this lockdown gets extended by another week or two! What will happen then? Without being a doomsday predictor, we want you to be ready. Ready for what?

Well, be ready to sustain the pain a bit longer. Be ready to sustain more days of confinement. Wherever you are, whatever your condition is and in whichever shape your mood is, be ready to face the crisis for a few more weeks.

For this, we have a suggestion for you.

Keep your humor intact. Don’t get depressed. Sing, dance or even play musical instruments.

Paint, write poems, make beautiful rangolis.

Cook something and show your culinary skills to your family.

Be creative and find your catharsis in whichever form of creativity you are comfortable with.

It will help you go on. You can’t by studying Laxmikant for hours without taking a break. You can’t be cramming up medieval history without wanting to do something interesting. Find that break, express yourself and get going again.

We are here to make this process exciting for you.

Why don’t you share your moments of catharsis with us?

It could be anything- a song, a painting, a poem, a story, a dance performance, and whatnot. There is no limit to creativity. Just unleash and share it with everyone!

We are sure about your hidden talents and potential.

UPSC is not only about academics but personality. And your personality is shaped by the creativity that you possess.

We take this opportunity first and are happy to post this beautiful Story by Atyab Ali Zaidi, our talented and highly popular faculty for Geography. Listen to this light yet satirical literary piece that intends to invoke the emotive debate of man versus nature:

We encourage you to keep the comment section alive by sharing your talents and also by commenting and encouraging the talent of your peers. We are also going to be a regular visitor here and will keep on posting the creative works by our talented team members and staff.

NOTE- You can also nominate by tagging anyone (if you know about the talent of your friend or anyone) 🙂

You can share your talent/creativity with us on support@iasbaba.com and ilp@iasbaba.com

We believe that, each one of you has some hidden talent. It’s time that you explore more about yourselves and remain positive throughout this journey. Make the best use of this opportunity!

Good times are bound to come. Together we can overcome the crisis!

Keep yourself engaged, motivate others through your active participation. It’s all about knowing more about yourself right- through this initiative!

Remember, IASbaba is always there to help you when needed. We are just a mail/call (hotline) away.

All the Best
